Mr. Nelson will only continue to generate billable hours by taking advantage of your emotional situations. His only goal is to prolong any divorce or case. His intentions are always to go to trial so he can charge high fees as it will then be to late for you to turn back. He will not give sound advice or solve any problem. It is years later and I have had to hire 2 additional lawyers and pay more fees to repair the damages of Mr. Nelson's failed actions. My nightmare has been prolonged years due to his incompetence! If your considering hiring this man I suggest watching him act in open court first. Would have saved me thousands of dollars and so many problems had i steered clear of him! I am actually having to hire another attorney due to his negligence and came across this website and review board! Absolute clown!

Mr. Nelson is unethical and violated the Professional Code of Conduct numerous times throughout the divorce case, advising to violate the temporary restraining order in place and to cancel my spouse's insurance policy. He discriminated against mental illness by referencing it as a "mental defect", he is an extremely rude person, overly aggressive to the point of being insulting, withheld financial information to the court and missed the Court's deadline date to file documents that finalized the divorce, the Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law and Division of Property. He is unprofessional and narcissistic, I do not recommend him to anyone if you are looking for any type of legal representation. Rapid City has numerous attorney's that are faithful to the law, represent the law accordingly and will treat you with decency and respect. Do NOT settle for less than this during your divorce.
