Hired Law firm 2025-2026HORRIBLE LAW FIRM!!! David Lane is a scammer and should have his license revoked!! Took over a year for a agreed upon 50/50 Child support case. He re-scheduled court dates and both parties would show up and he would not answer phones or emails til days later. We would have to find out from court. When papers were drawn they were wrong with nothing for our agreement and extra people on their that were not supposed to be or not even for our case. Their excuse is the assistant is 65 yr old and mixed up the paperwork. But yet the lawyer said he reviewed it. I guess he really didn't and lied about it. Also when we did have our court date he never showed up. Waited a hour and called and called and no answer & office was no help. The judge even called him and he never showed. I have paid over $14,000 for this lawyer who isn't even doing his JOB! Do you think they will refund me for this lawyer slacking and making all these errors? NOPE! The lawyer has even blocked my number. I called the lawyers office and they said they would have a member of management call us back but never asked for a phone number and name I had to ask "Do you want the name and phone number to call us back?" Oh yes please. Duh! Did they call back? Nope and they are still trying to take out payments still with the case being close and agreed upon. Why are you still taking out money but its all done and paid in full even though the lawyer didn't do anything. I saw him in person ONCE and the assistant has been doing it all. I would not recommend this law firm at all & definitely not DAVID LANE! He is a crappy lawyer and cares nothing but taking your money. Maybe I should take him to court?

Hired Law firm 2025-2026Scamming Lawyers! Hired David Lane for a 50/50 agreed upon Child support Order. Took over a year and over $14,000 later they are still trying to draw money out but case is closed. Lawyer scheduled court at least 3 times without telling us and kept changing the court date and not tell us so we would get off of work then he never showed and court said he rescheduled. He kept drawing out money of course and when we did get paper work it had peoples name and info that was not even for our case. The excuse was the lady doing the papers was 65 and got confused but yet the lawyer said he looked it over. If he did he would have spotted the mistakes in the case info. On court date when it was finally set in stone the lawyer didn't even show up. Court waited a hour and even the judge called and he never answered. No he continues to try to take out money on something that he really never did anything. From what the lady told us the assistant did all the work and the lawyer only showed up once and not even on the date he should have showed up to so now I'm $14,000 in the hole and the lawyer has blocked my number and of course I wont see any of that money back for work he never even did. 80% I talked to his assistant. Don't use this lawyer he should not be licensed and a scam artist unless you just want to throw away your money and nothing be done. Had friends complete this kind of child support in 2-3 month with both parties even not at full agreement but he took almost a year. Don't waste your time on David Lane because his time is more important then helping you at all. He just wants the $$$ and doesnt give a crap for anything else.

Hired Law firm 2025I hired W&M because I got sued by a major bank over a bogus debt. Fortunately Chris and the team there deal with this all the time and were able to quickly win the case. I just wanted to leave a quick review so others know that W&M is a very good firm.

Hired Law firm 2024-2025Hello, my name is Linda and I used Warren & Migliaccio LLP for a bankruptcy proceeding which was handled wonderfully and with great care. Mr. Migliaccio and his team took the time to truly understand my situation and to help me find the right path forward. I trust their team whole-heartedly and am thankful for the fresh start I was able to get after my case was over. I can tell you that Chris is a very genuine person and always does what he says he will. Thank you very much.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
