Verified ClientHired Attorney 2024-2025Hello, my name is Linda and I used Warren & Migliaccio LLP for a bankruptcy proceeding which was handled wonderfully and with great care. Mr. Migliaccio and his team took the time to truly understand my situation and to help me find the right path forward. I trust their team whole-heartedly and am thankful for the fresh start I was able to get after my case was over. I can tell you that Chris is a very genuine person and always does what he says he will. Thank you very much.

Hired Attorney 2025I just want to say thank you to Christopher and the team at W&M for representing me during a lawsuit against a major bank. They were trying to claim I owed tens of thousands of dollars, but I knew the debt had been forgiven. Fortunately Chris and his team deal with this all the time and were able to win the case and prevent issues like garnishment or worse. I recommend W&M to anyone dealing with debt lawsuit issues. They are very good.

Hired Attorney 2024-2025It meant a lot to me working with attorney Migliaccio and getting out of this mess I was in with professionalism and grace. The truth is, I got caught up in a credit card debt and kept using one card to pay off another and was always falling behind for over a decade and it got so bad people were threatening me and trying to sue me, so I called Warren & Migliaccio and asked for help and was very grateful to receive it. I learned so much about this industry and how it works and the team didn't take any nonsense from anyone and got me unstuck. It was a huge learning process but I am better now for it and the team at W&M did what they were supposed to - made the problem go away and taught me how to never get in that kind of trouble again. I can't say enough good things and if you give them a shot you will be pleasantly surprised.

Hired Attorney 2023-2025I interviewed multiple lawyers to find someone that could help me with a difficult divorce case and felt that Chris and Gary understood my needs the best and took the time to explain everything to me to ensure the process was as easy as possible. They ALWAYS took the time to make sure my many questions were answered and that issues like obtaining out of state records were taken care of. I was undergoing a lot of stress, but W&M was very caring and great to work with.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
