Hired Law firm 2024-2025Raya Dimitrova represented me for my court appointed case. Even though I did not have the money to hire her privately, she took the care and time for me as if I had. She ensured I understood all of the processes and actually got the help I desperately needed. I hope to not need a lawyer again, but if I do, I will be requesting Carr Law Firm.

Consulted Law firm 2018-2019I hands down strongly encourage anyone that is seeking legal council to call Carr Law Firm. Raya Dimitrova was assigned to be my court appointed attorney. I was facing some pretty serious charges and I have never been into trouble before so needless to say I was scared to death. I did not know a thing about the law, my rights, all the court proceedings and steps that had to be taken. Raya was amazing, very nice and explaitative from the beginning. She was right by my side the whole way throughout my case. Down to the detail step by step she explained to me what was happening and going to happen and she did not once let me down. Even as she was my court appointed attorney had my best interest at heart and faught my way out of everything to the bestest ability possible. Raya has her whole heart into her job and sets the bar high. A year later I had questions and within 5 minutes she replied back to me. It's hard to find someone of her nature anymore. I just (as you can not tell) love her to pieces and anyone who should have her as their attorney is in excellent hands. RAYA ROCKS!!! Sincerely, Amy German

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
