The Law Offices of Mark Deniz APLC proudly serves the Chula Vista community with representation in criminal defense, DUI, prostitution and solicitation, and domestic violence cases, backed by the full resources of our main San Diego office and branches in Escondido, Carlsbad, and the Pacific Heights Boulevard and Treena Street offices in San Diego.
Our firm was founded by Mark Deniz, an attorney who has devoted his entire career – more than 20 years – to criminal law. He graduated in 2002, gained admission to The State Bar of California the following year and immediately entered the field as a prosecutor. From 2004 to 2009, he served as a deputy district attorney in Tulare County, after which he joined the San Diego City Attorney's Office as a deputy city attorney until 2013, when he founded our firm.
Few defense attorneys can claim the prosecutorial pedigree we bring to the table. Having spent nearly 10 years building cases for the government, we now apply that same rigor to protecting our clients, scrutinizing every police report, lab result and witness statement for flaws the prosecution would prefer to go unnoticed. Our philosophy is simple: identify the challenges and act on them immediately, rather than waiting passively for a plea deal to materialize.
Mr. Deniz has further honed his craft through training with the U.S. Department of Justice, the San Diego County District Attorney's Office and the California District Attorneys Association, along with academic coursework at Harvard Law School and the National College for DUI Defense. He also serves as an author and educator within the legal field, passing his knowledge on to other attorneys, and his consistent courthouse presence has made him a familiar, respected figure among San Diego County's legal professionals.
