Our founder, Mark Deniz, brings more than two decades of criminal law experience to every case we handle. After earning his law degree in 2002 and gaining admission to The State Bar of California in 2003, he spent nearly a decade prosecuting cases – first as a deputy district attorney in Tulare County from 2004 to 2009, then as a deputy city attorney with the San Diego City Attorney's Office until 2013. That same year, he established our firm to advocate for individuals confronting criminal allegations.
This prosecutorial background gives us a distinct advantage: we understand how cases are built, investigated and argued, allowing us to anticipate the state's strategy before it unfolds. We pair that insight with a proactive, solutions-driven philosophy, beginning our review of the facts the moment we take on a case rather than waiting for hearings or plea offers to dictate our next move.

His training through the U.S. Department of Justice, the San Diego County District Attorney's Office and the California District Attorneys Association, combined with coursework at Harvard Law School and the National College for DUI Defense, rounds out a legal foundation few can match. A former Division Ⅰ NCAA athlete, he brings the same discipline and competitive drive to the courtroom that once defined him on the field.
