From our Carlsbad office, The Law Offices of Mark Deniz APLC represents individuals charged with criminal offenses, including DUI, prostitution and solicitation, and domestic violence, while maintaining additional offices in San Diego, Escondido, Chula Vista and at Pacific Heights Boulevard and Treena Street in San Diego.
Leading our firm is Mark Deniz, an attorney whose career has spanned both sides of the criminal justice system. Admitted to The State Bar of California in 2003, he launched his legal career as a prosecutor, first with the Tulare County District Attorney's Office from 2004 to 2009 and later as a deputy city attorney in San Diego through 2013. That year marked a turning point, as he established our practice to champion the rights of those accused of crimes.
This dual perspective shapes everything we do. Having once built cases for the prosecution, we now use that same understanding to dismantle them, identifying procedural missteps and evidentiary weaknesses that a less experienced defense team might overlook. We refuse to sit idle while waiting for the prosecution to make the next move; instead, we launch our investigation the moment we are retained.
Mr. Deniz's qualifications are further bolstered by specialized training through the U.S. Department of Justice, the San Diego County District Attorney's Office and the California District Attorneys Association, as well as academic study at Harvard Law School and the National College for DUI Defense. A former Division Ⅰ collegiate football player, he channels the same resilience and strategic thinking into every courtroom battle he undertakes. His frequent appearances in local courts have fostered working relationships with judges and prosecutors throughout the region.
